That’s exactly how God’s Word works. As we soak and meditate on his words, we replace in our brain what we are afraid of. A storm might be raging around us. A giant might be taunting us and demoralizing us. But we can saturate ourselves in the truths of God’s Word and remind ourselves that God is able. He is always able. He is the Lord, and there is no other who can save but him. What he has purposed will happen, and what he has said will come about.
