And you shall take on the first day the fruit of splendid trees, branches of palm trees and boughs of leafy trees and willows of the brook, and you shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days. (Lev. 23:40) And you shall sacrifice peace offerings and shall eat there, and you shall rejoice before the LORD your God. (Deut. 27:7) This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. (Ps. 118:24) So if a person lives many years, let him rejoice in them all.
