There is no cause for frustration, guilt, or shame in prayer. The good news is that our Father loves us and knows our weaknesses. He sees our hearts, whether they are inclined to him or not. And the gospel tells us that Christ died for hearts not inclined toward him. Now that we are reconciled to the Father, despite our sin and stupidity, the Son and the Spirit pray for us even still, pleading the blood of Christ on our behalf for all time.
