I really love this word. There is so much imagery so much creativity in this one word. That beautiful intersectiom between day and night where magic feels so real. The only equivalent is dawn where the night undresses for the day.

The “café” wasn’t exactly what springs to mind. It wasn’t Starbucks or Tully’s or one of those fantastic, fabled spaces that serves pancakes and bagels and gelato.
I remember this feeing so keenly. All I wanted to do was go someplace cool and hip with an aesthetic and choices. I wanted someplace not forgotten by time. Small town wishes.
I turn back, looking at the pair of them as they sit on the bench with the sunset-colored lake in the background, and I softly layer a lyrical piano melody over the scene.
I love how she creates scores in her head for different moments of her life. This is such a cool touch! It humanizea her even deeper:)

My heart leaps with a bo-yo-yoing. Her smile is absolutely unbeatable. It makes me want to give her everything I have for free. I think it’s the most precious thing I’ve seen in Tokyo today.
It was a colorful, thrilling day. It feels as if I spent all of it getting pelted by a rainbow-colored shower.
