God spoke through Ezekiel saying, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit inside you; I will take the stony heart out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26). Look at that word new – in the Hebrew it’s chadash, meaning a fresh new thing, not something stale or that’s been around. It’s going to be new, not just restored.
