Many men of God have battled depression. Jeremiah certainly experienced depression as did Jonathan Edwards. Any man who stands on the Word of God in an uncompromising, unswerving manner and does all he can to glorify and please God without being concerned with what men say will likely go through bouts of depression.
The chief priests, the leaders of the Jews but not the Jewish people, gave Him up to be tortured and killed. Why did it have to be the chief priests and leaders? They were the ones who instituted and performed the sacrificial system, so they had to present the sacrifice. It’s biblical, it’s Levitical, and it’s right. Nobody else could put their hands on Him because they were presenting the offering for Israel and the world.
Then we have the four living creatures. The lion signified royalty and is represented by the color purple. White represents man and purity. The eagle is represented by the blue of the heavens, the Son of God. And the bull represented the sacrifice, the red. Every time we see red in the tabernacle, it’s representative of sacrifice, of suffering, of atonement, and of blood. The blood is for cleansing as we know there is no remission of sin without blood. either you’re going to accept His blood, or you’ll have to pay for it.
God doesn’t send anybody away from heaven. It’s our choice.
