We believe there must be “someone” doing the action.
While studying neuroscience, plotting action potentials from lab recordings to check whether a monkey was rising their hand or looking at a light; I had this thought about how sensorial action potentials are ignited by a nervous trigger, coming from the environment, like a light beam exciting the retina cells or something touching our skin nerves. But what is the trigger when it’s an action we as a being start apparently at will?
If you need a set of neurons to agree and spike to start a muscular action as simple as moving a finger: who, where or what started that initial energy needed to make the group of neurons probably at M1 to spike together until the signal is sent to millions of muscle cells so they contract or relax in order for that very finger to move?

When we say “It is raining,” there does not need to be a rainer in order to have the rain. Who is the “it” that is raining? There is only raining. Raining is happening.
So me walking while reading this book on my phone while typing this note for good reads is an action that happens just as raining does. There is no Rainer just the conditions fiscally between a system happens to be the ones that makes it rain. As it’s happening now so I walk, type, read and “understand” this concept.
Ok so hold my beer for a second and tell me: it’s the rain conscious it is raining just as I can tell you I’m typing this right now? How can you be sure? Is the dog aware of our “superior” abilities? What if we are to rain as ants are to us? Yeah I know I’m about to bring Poseidon up haha
We cannot assert that after death there is nothing. Something can never become nothing.
Yeah yeah but I’d we weren’t something from the beginning bc we are just the output of a casual interaction of our microbiome and atoms... the. What stops existing is that consciente entity... those interactions stop happening like when it stops raining so rain right here is not anymore and the next rain is not the same per Heraclitus but I’m neither the same.. well I DO have a memory or I believe I do every morning... when we die does that memory stop being remembered the way it is being remembered by what I think I am?
The rain is a remanifestation of the cloud.
When I met with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for the last time a year later, we spoke about our dreams of building community. He called it the “beloved community.” A beloved community is a community of people who share the same aspiration and want to support each other to realize that aspiration.
So I as the continuation body or body outside their bodies now want to make their dream true. Let’s build a beloved community or in Raul’s voice: “Vecino, me escucha?!”
If we want to grow on our spiritual path, we need a community and spiritual friends to support and nourish us.
And in return, we support and nourish them, like cells in the same body. On our own, without a community, we cannot do much. We need a community of like-minded friends and c...

A bell of mindfulness is a bell that reminds us to stop and come home to ourselves.
We have to train ourselves in the art of right thinking so we can produce positive, nourishing thoughts every day. If you had a negative thought about someone in the past, it’s not too late to do something about it. The present moment contains both the past and the future. If today you can produce a thought of compassion, of love, of forgiveness, then that positive thought has the power to transform the negative thought of yesterday and to guarantee a more beautiful future tomorrow.
Contemplating deeply the body from within, we can touch reality in itself. If your mindfulness and concentration are deep as you practice walking meditation in nature, or as you contemplate a beautiful sunset or your own human body, you can touch the true nature of the cosmos.
We think that when we’re not doing anything, we’re wasting our time. But that’s not true.
If we are traveling in the space time at a speed of C with components in s and t (space and time) then meditate or doing nothing really nothing is the art of put the speed component to zero making your speed on time = C
So meditating is to travel at top speed on time hence you are in the past, present and future at the same time (pun not intended)... you are everywhere and everything.
You go and get back and enjoy a journey but when come back clock says it was just a few minutes.
By doing nothing you make conscious the interbeing the intercosmos and you can feel your other 7 bodies (one of them the blue little bodies from Soul the movie)
So as well as saying, “Don’t just sit there—do something!” we can also say, “Don’t just do something—sit there!”
When we can listen deeply to each other’s suffering and difficulties, and when we can express our insights and ideas using loving speech, then our negotiations will be successful. Once there is understanding, releasing fear and anger becomes possible.
Colombian presidents use to be so arrogant. They see themselves not as an administrator elected to serve the people but as a crowned semi-hero elected by their own quilities and effforts.
As i discussed with Georgi my Ukraninan friend countries are a concept that introduce упередження (prejudice) and i dissagree with the current definition of a country because of that.
So if we may change president elected mindset to evolve from the separatedness to a interbeing one... Let's day if presidents around the world can meet each other living the "countryman-body" acknowledging they are not a different being, they are empty and full of their fellow countryman.. we may have govermnments that unite instead of partitionate, we may have a definition of country that actually adds value and improves peoples lifes and that actually impart by example (as the secret of our success says its the only way) the very lesson of emptyness, togetherness and aimlessness.
From motion to action... what can we do now to be a bit closer to that definition of a country?
let me know what you think about this definition of a country if you read this someday.
Restoring communication is the most basic practice for peace.
Peace is not something to hope for in the future. Peace is something that we can be in every moment.
If we want peace, we have to be peace.
The truth is I really don’t feel that there is anything I have to do before I die, because the way I see it, I won’t ever die.
“Dear ones, the work of rebuilding may take thousands of lifetimes, but this work was already completed thousands of lifetimes ago.”
There were over a thousand steps leading up the mountain, but our aim was not to get to the top. Our aim was to touch peace and joy with every step.
Yet again mix this with atomic habits and you get an enlighted habit routine.. lets add to the practices to build habits a mindful one to enjoy the journey
When human beings first developed the capacity to walk and run it was either to chase after something or to escape something. That energy of chasing and running is deeply ingrained in every cell of our body. But today there is no longer the same need to hunt, fight, or escape from danger, and yet we still walk with that kind of energy. We have developed from Homo erectus to Homo sapiens, and now we have a chance to become Homo conscius—a mindful, awakened species. This species will learn to walk in freedom.
“I have arrived; I am home” means “I don’t want to run anymore.” I’ve been running all my life and I’ve arrived nowhere. Now I want to stop. My destination is the here and now, the only time and place where true life is possible.
This is slow walking meditation—a way to truly train yourself in really stopping, calming, and arriving.
You don’t need to get to your destination in order to arrive. You arrive at every step.
Don’t think that nirvana is something far away. You can touch nirvana at every step.
When we practice walking meditation we touch the ultimate, the Kingdom of God, with our feet, our mind, and our whole body.
When we say that nothing is created, nothing is destroyed, everything transforms, this also applies to your body, your feelings, your perceptions, your mental formations, your consciousness.
Inter-somos.
Construir, transformar, escuchar esa amar.
Happiness is a habit. It’s a training.
“the Buddha entered nirvana after he died.”
This can be read as nirvana is after suffering. Bc it is the relief, cooling feeling when you put hand on the ashes.
A mushroom told me you need to die in order to live. Saprophagous. You need to recognize, say hello, embrace and take care of suffering to get there. To gods kingdom. The promised land. And it’s daily that you can hit there... as soul pianist when he let everything go and got lost in the instrument. Or the other guy probably using lsd. If you are submerged in your passion but while acknowledging our suffering not hiding from it I guess that is nirvana itself.
But suppose you adapt in a different way. Seeing everyone around you so busy, you try to be even busier in order to keep up. Others have tactics to get to the top, so you adopt those same tactics to be number one—in your work and in your social environment. You might be successful for a time, but in the end, this adaptation is self-destructive, for you as an individual and for the species as a whole.
