Different conceptions of God are held in various cultures, but this does not negate the basic idea of a creator or nonhuman personal cause. In spite of the number of atheists in the world, the belief in God is universal. A universal belief does not mean every single person on the planet must believe in it. A cross-cultural consensus is enough evidence to substantiate the claim that people universally believe in God’s existence, and therefore, it is not due to specific social conditions.
