However, the Prince would not come to the gate or agree that the gate should be opened to him. Instead, He sent this answer: “They have turned their back to Me and not their face, and now in the time of their trouble, they say to Me, ‘Arise and save us.’ Why don’t they go to Mr. Carnal-Security, as they did when they turned from Me, and make him their leader, their lord, and their protection now in their trouble? In their prosperity, they went astray. Why is it that in their trouble they visit Me?”
