This is Not Your Story

You have to tell yourself that the misery you fear your parents may inflict if you cross them will never be as bad as the misery that you are in by not standing up for your dreams. If you follow the path you wish, if you chase down those dreams, you will truly not suffer.

Remember, there is a cost for everything you want in life. A cost for making your life better, a cost for not making your life better.

And it’s you who will have to pay for it. So, decide carefully what you want.’

Every experience, failed or successful, is never wasted. All the time spent does work towards a final goal, some known and some newly-discovered on the journey. You have to have faith in yourself, confidence in who you are and want to be, and be brave enough to take the steps towards achieving your dream.’

Life is always presenting new opportunities. I may not have taken the chance before, but that doesn’t mean I have missed that opportunity, right? It’s time to be

brave and grab hold of that second chance.
