Source. Whenever we enter an incarnation in the physical and choose to live another lifetime, there is a veil of forgetfulness that is placed over us so that we take the illusion seriously and have a chance to learn the meaning of true love and compassion in a much more difficult setting in which we think we are actually separate from one another, the planet, and our Creator. Think about how much more meaningful the lesson of love is when you can learn it under such a limited perception. Indeed, it fosters true meaningful growth.
