You cannot say that God loves unconditionally while also saying that God judges and punishes. The statement is an oxymoron. The two qualities cannot simultaneously exist, for judgment and punishment imply conditions. This is not to say that there is no justice in the Creator’s universe. There is justice, but that justice comes in the form of karmic law that simply rebalances energy and acts as a teacher of love to each seemingly separate soul rather than there being a judgmental Creator who is vengeful and angry at those who don’t follow his will that is seemingly separate from theirs.
