We have to remember that the spaces that we foster are important. Economics—what will be economically viable—shapes the kinds of spaces we are going to see. Those spaces in turn shape us. We must actively foster the kind of spaces that teach the habitus that we want others to have. If we hope to have a queer revolution, it has to come from us.
