we don’t have to burn down the house simply because we’ve moved our things out. Other good folks probably still live there, and until one minute ago, we did too.
This was talking about how once you gain new understanding of something or your viewpoints change, you don't need to (nor should you) crucify the people that still believe the things that you did too up until you didn't any longer. I really liked this passage because it is all too easy to become caught up and self-righteous.
