There is only one kind of “stuff,” and both mind and matter are mere appearances. When looked at from the outside, this “stuff” appears as matter, and as such has been the object of scientific investigation. But when examined from the inside, this exact same “stuff” appears as mind.
What we make of our life—the sum total of thoughts, emotions, words, and actions that fill the brief interval between birth and death—is our one great creative masterpiece.
Begs the question as to whether we actually, ‘leave anything behind.’ If the sum of our consciousness resides within the present, there is no such thing as an existence apart from it.
