I took a second to look around at them all. I was sick, they thought with food poisoning, so they came to keep me company and take care of me. “You guys are pretty amazing, you know,” I told them honestly. I’m glad I kept my voice from cracking. Most of them shrugged, a couple waved a hand dismissively as they watched the start of the movie. “We’re family, it’s what we do,” Miles told me absently.
