My gamer brain immediately thinks of all the gaming strategies possible with character stats like this. I usually min/max my stats when I play games but that’s when it’s a game. If I want to survive here, I’ll have to think of a better strategy than maximizing a single stat for the largest bonus.
Min/maxing is about getting the absolute best results you can for your role.
E.g. damage dealers, doing the most dps they can.
So if your role is to survive solo while doing dps you can still min/max your stats to achieve that.
Min/maxing is using your attribute points, gear, and skills efficiently and without waste.
Diablo 2 at endgame was the epitome of min/maxing as an example.
