There is a stigma in each person of the Trinity. The offense of the Father is His prerogative—His right to do and say what He pleases.
The stigma of the Son is His provision—His death on the cross being the only way we can be saved.
The offense of the cross consists both in the way we are saved and that it is only through God’s Son. That is the offense.
And the stigma of the Spirit is His presence. The Holy Spirit offends. When one is offended by the Spirit, it is because he is offended by God.
