This includes the belief that whatever is in our mind is a reflection of our true thoughts and feelings, no matter how we might protest it is not so. So intrusive thoughts must speak some special, perhaps hidden, truth about us. Fact: The fact is that everyone has passing weird, aggressive, or crazy thoughts. If every thought spoke to underlying character, then 90 percent of people would be weird, aggressive, or crazy.
