Buffering is that time you spend waiting for the pixels of your life to crystallize into a clearer picture; it’s a time of reflection, a time of pause, a time for regaining your composure or readjusting your course.
The worst I might do these days is slap a wall or a countertop. It stings, but it’s better than burning myself with a cigarette or punching walls. I’d say I’ve come a long way. I always have to try and remember to be kind to myself. It’s a journey of continued effort and occasional failure. And that’s okay. I can’t beat myself up for that. PUN INTENDED.
