This would have to be so, for if both parents were human, Jesus would have been bound to the nature of Adam. He would have been a slave to sin. He could not have lived a perfect life and therefore could not redeem us. However, He had to be born of woman because it was a man who fell, and it would have to be a man who would pay the price for our treason.

It is the fear of God that keeps us from drifting back into sin.
