Scientists are like children: They always want to know everything, they all ask too many questions, and they never follow orders to the letter.

It does feel a little improvised, but you have to understand that scientists believed that finding alien life would mean microbes, or an overly regular radio signal, nothing like what we are faced with today.

I would probably choose the same path. It has not always been easy, but overall, I believe I have done more good than harm.

Now go home. Go home and tell your family you love them. Tell them ten times, a hundred times. Do it while you can. And if we somehow survive this, keep doing it. In the end, it’s all that really matters.
