What about the nest of the Baltimore bird? Who taught this bird that fine art? Why do all nests built by these birds look alike? If you say it is the instinct, then that is one way out of the question; but it is an inadequate answer. What is an instinct? Some people say it is the behavior which the animal does not learn. Is it not logical, then, to see the power of God manifested in these creatures which He created according to laws of which we hardly know a thing about?2
