Didache: Teaching of the Apostles

First of all, Love God who made you; Secondly, Love your neighbour as you love yourself.

Let your alms sweat in your hands, until you will have learned to whom to give.

Your word shall not be false or empty, but fulfilled by action.

You shall not hate any man, but some you shall reprove, and for others you shall pray, and others you shall love more than your life.
