When Christians are playing together, they are playing at/in God’s new creation—where the faithful lose themselves in exploring a world of possibilities in Christ so that they might live into them more fully. In playing at the new creation, Christian communities attempt to create the world to which Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection point—a place where all of creation can live in justice, harmony, and authenticity.
