You require confidence when you are afraid. The one who is not afraid, does not require confidence.

There can be two ways of acting: one is that I am acting right now and the other is that I already have the image in the mind and based on that image I am working for the future. Unfortunately, ninety nine percent of us work according to the second order.
first model says that, “I am in love with my books and studies in the present and because I study well in the present, so I will do well in the examination, which is in future.”
second model says that, “When the examination will be announced, when the exam date-sheet will be put up, then to do well, I will start studying. To do well in the future, I will start studying. Future comes first for all.”
“Because I am studying, hence I will naturally do well in the exam.
am not studying for the sake of exam; I am studying because I love to study.”

Essentially, all planning for the future is planning of the present.
You have trust on something. You have Faith on nothing. Trust always has an object to trust, Faith has no object. That is why trust can be broken, Faith cannot be broken.
So whenever it comes to fear, always remember one thing. All fear is related to somebody else. Something external, something outside of you is always related to your fear.
How are we dependent upon the audience? Our image depends upon the audience.
The image that I hold of myself that comes from others. I look at myself through the eyes of others.
First thing is that, fear is related to others, something external. Second thing is that, it is related to others, because you are dependent on others.
I never examine my own actions and thoughts to see who I am. Instead I depend on others.
“I am so dependent upon the opinions of others. A complete slave I am. You say that I am A, so I become A. You say that I am B, so I think that I am B. Who am I? That I do not know”. That is fear.
One - it arises due to others. Second - it arises when you depend upon others.
how to get rid of fear? By reducing your dependency.
Reducing dependencies, finding your authentic self, is the key to living fearlessly.
Real education is about a mind that is able to understand its own processes.
a mind that cannot go into itself, is not an educated mind. When education is about the external, the laboratory is outside. When education is about the mind then you have to observe the mind itself.
self-education is not about objects, it is about you. This same mind that has always been forced to wander outside is taken inward.
What is a mind that is always competitive and that is always thinking in relation to the other? Such a mind is a fearful mind.
Such a mind does not look at itself because it is so busy looking at the other, that its life, all its activities, all its thoughts are determined by what is happening on the outside.
A fearful man has no awareness of moving deep in the ‘now’.
You are forgetting that future comes from the present.

Future will come from this moment. If this moment is lived well, the future is bound to be beautiful.
The one who is sleeping today, who is unaware today, who is lost today, who has decayed the seed of today, how can he think of a beautiful tree in the future?
Those who live in dreams of tomorrow, they not only spoil their today, they do not get anything in the future. Those who live in now, in the present, they not only live today fully, they also get a beautiful future as a surprise gift.
Go deep into what is available to you. Go deep into your mind. Understand the mind, understand the world. And then you will yourself come to know what is worth doing.

‘Calling’ is a word that is used to describe the work that really beckons you. It is that which if not done will never leave you satisfied.
Ask yourself, “What is it that I can do even without being paid?”
Instead of getting a salary or compensation even if you have to pay the money to do that, you will still do that. That is your calling.

An advantage with pursuing an un-traded, uncharted path is that the road is clear.
When even without mental work physical work happens, then there is no need of anything called ‘success’.
Then what is happening is just happening, nicely, smoothly, beautifully.
Real success is when you understand something, and out of that understanding you immediately start acting.
