But I’ve never hated her for being clueless. I hate her because she doesn’t want to know better. And I hate her most of all when she tells me how I’m feeling.

Because I can’t pretend she would be less frightened just because she doesn’t know what’s happening. I know what that’s like; it is the exact opposite.
