It is just as helpful to figure out what you don’t want to do as it is to figure out what you do want to do.
Remember that you’ve gotten through hard times before and it only made you stronger. Every challenge is making you stronger.
Sometimes not getting what you want is a blessing in disguise and sometimes it’s a sign that you need to look for something better.
Pain changes people for the better.
This feeling is temporary. In time, you will get over it and feel better. You will not be stuck in this rut forever.
Sometimes giving back when you don’t have anything else is the ultimate therapy. Helping others will heal you.
You will never please everyone—never.
“You is kind, you is smart, you is important.”
Sometimes even just drinking water, going outside, or even stretching can make all of the difference.
Your pain is an excuse to be in a bad mood, but not an excuse to be cruel.
Apologize when you need to not only to other people, but also to yourself.
Mental health and self-care are things that you have to work on forever.
Count your blessings, not your calories.
Only in darkness can you see the stars. – Martin Luther King Jr.
“No” is a complete sentence.
You are enough.
