You Are a Badass at Making Money: Master the Mindset of Wealth

I love money because I am a fearless, badass, moneymaking machine. Anticipate your obstacles. Doubt is like the little string you tug on that unravels the whole sweater. Get clear on the top three things that could bring doubt to your resolve and prepare yourself to meet them head-on so they are powerless over you. (Example: My spouse won’t be supportive of me. Have a mantra ready: Only I know my own truth and I know in my bones that I am rich. Write down the obstacles and write down the solutions.) Raise your bottom line. So often our decision muscle only really kicks in when our backs are against the wall and we have to make the money—rent is due, we need surgery, the Mafia is at the door with an IOU. Decide on an amount that is going to be your new bottom line so it’s no longer zero. Let’s say five hundred dollars. You have to have five hundred dollars in your bank account at all times, and the second you get near that amount, you sound the rallying cry to up your game and bring in more money so you don’t go below that amount. Then keep raising your bottom line every month or so and soon you’ll no longer be in a struggle.
