Here we see the souls of Jonathan and David being knit together in brotherhood. This is an example of a righteous soul-tie instigated by the Holy Spirit. The connection was healthy for both and provided a foundation for righteousness in both parties.

A soul-tie is an addiction of sorts.
Idolizing somebody can cause a bad soul tie.
When it comes out of your mouth, you are responsible to fulfill it. People often say things like: “I can’t live without you,” or “I can never love anyone else but you.” All of this language is establishing a mental and spiritual stronghold. The words of our mouths can create a binding contract.
Sounds like Word of Faith / Charles Capps theology. Man is not a creative being - what we speak does not come to pass unless we are uttering words given to us by God.
When You Pledge Devotion, You Give Demonic Spirits Legal Access To Your Soul To Feed That Declared Devotion.
I haven’t spent a lot of time studying the concept of spiritual ‘legal rights’, but my position is that if I don’t see Jesus doing it in the Bible, it’s probably something not worth studying.
This simply means that the person must sincerely want to be free from the illicit relationship in every part of their being. Quite often, we want freedom on one level and we are still hooked on another level.
This is true of *all* sin. If we want to be delivered of it, we must repent (turn and walk away).
To Break A Soul-Tie Will Require: Conviction In The Spirit - Renewing Of The Mind And The Crucifixion Of The Flesh. The Spirit, Mind And Body Must All Align In Agreement.

Many people say they want to break the soul-tie and simultaneously pull away from the people and things that encourage their liberation.
Very true.
Any Part Of Your Being That Yet Craves Darkness Has Not Been Surrendered To God.
Exactly.
The soul-tie is often difficult to break because the soul-tie may be satisfying other subsurface needs in the person’s life. Just like drugs provide the addict with an escape; sometimes, bad relationships are doing something beneath the surface for an individual.
Codependency.
Sometimes, The Root Of The Soul-Tie Is Selfishness. The Person Is Fulfilling Some Personal Deficiency.
The root of all sin is ultimately selfishness - putting your needs above the needs of someone else.
Sometimes, the Soul-Tie is in how the person makes you feel. We all have subconscious needs that often stem from our flesh and actually make us vulnerable to manipulation. King Saul had a high need to feel superior.
Pride.
This lady had five different men and none of them married her, apparently. Why? She clearly just needed somebody present. Many people are stuck in soul-ties because they view it as being better than being alone.
Actually five did marry her. Only the man she was currently living with wasn’t married to her.
Another reason the soul-tie is very difficult to break is because it may only be eliminated under the light of transparency. One may not hide a soul-tie and purge it simultaneously. To heal it, one must reveal it. NOBODY WANTS TO BE HONEST ABOUT THEIR OWN FLAWS!

Soul Ties Are Most Often The Consequence Of Rebellion Against The Holy Spirit, Parental Advice, Counsel Of Pastors And Even Against One’s Own Conscience.
All sin is a consequence of rebellion against the Holy Spirit.
The demonic spirits of flattery and lust came together to bring this man to his end. The man was under demonic influence and had no clue. Even believers can be influenced by demonic powers when we live in our flesh!
The only spirits Jesus mentions in the Bible are Jezebel and Legion. It’s foolish and prideful to try to name every spirit, as if we needed a special incantation to fight the enemy.

I have no idea what this means and I’m inclined to think it’s nonsense that can be molded to fit any situation when it’s convenient for the one giving the advice.
Bad relationships are like junk food; you know it’s killing you, but you keep coming back for more. It’s a relationship that hurts but you want it.
This is the case with all sin.
YOU FORSAKE AND HURT PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN LOYAL TO YOU
I’ve seen this used by Jezebels to cause a lost sheep to break relationship with the only people who have their best interests at heart.
ACTIVATE SPIRITUAL ACCOUNTABILITY
No issues here except with the word Activate which is often a code word used by the NAR movement. We ‘activate’ nothing. We submit to the Holy Spirit and He does the rest.
We will all do much better if we submitted ourselves to spiritual authority.

PRACTICE SPIRITUAL TRASH DISPOSAL
This is done by replacing worldly thoughts with the Word - meditating on it constantly.
REVISIT YOUR INFLUENTIAL RELATIONSHIPS If you show me your closest friends, I can show you your soul. You cannot have regular fellowship with a best friend that is a prisoner and not experience prison to some extent. Show me your friends, and I will show you your soul.

When We Have Engaged In Any Behavior That Has Fed The Soul-tie, It Is Necessary To Repent Immediately And Turn Our Backs On It.

Many soul-ties live within physical objects. Every time the person revisits particular objects like old pictures, shared music, and even gift received, the tie is tightened. These objects symbolize the ungodly relationship and can hold a soul-tie in place.
This is just common sense and it has nothing to do with soul ties. If you struggle with alcoholism, get rid of the booze. Hooked on pain meds? Flush them. Struggle with lust? Be careful what you watch on TV.
Isolation Comes Before Elevation.
No argument. This pattern is repeated over and over in the Old Testament. It’s the way God wired us. Reference the Tyler Cycle.
FORGIVENESS IS A SPIRITUAL DETERGENT THAT PURGES THE RESIDUE OF SOUL-TIES
Forgiveness is what sets us free from the result of any sin. Lack of forgiveness is like drinking poison and Hoping the one who sinned against you will die.
CRUCIFIXION OF THE FLESH PURGES THE RESIDUE OF SOUL-TIES
Crucifixion of the flesh is the only way to overcome **any** sin.
