While an intern and resident at Walter Reed Medical Center from 2003 until 2009, he completed a Masters in Public Health and a two-year fellowship in Disaster and Preventative Psychiatry at the school’s Center For Traumatic Stress. Hassan received poor evaluations from his superiors and was reprimanded for substandard work.
