The average Man or Woman of 1997 will be as obsolete in 2007 as the medieval serf is now. What we consider normal jobs, normal social roles; normal “humanity” will be as archaic as a horde of alchemists, smithies, Town Criers, courtiers and barber-surgeons arriving in our midst today.
