I suspect—from conversations with many readers over the years—that plenty of people who read the Bible have that sort of feeling about Paul’s Letter to the Romans. It’s about righteousness and faith and love and wrath and God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit and Adam and Abraham and Moses and Israel.
