They hate Negroes in the South, they hate Jews in the North, and they hate labor unions in the West. It is the palace of industrialists and millionaires. It is the only country in the world where the poor will vote against their best interests all the time, and actually vote for any law to help the rich keep their money. And they do this believing one day they will have a lot of money and get the same treatment that they afforded the rich.

So applicable to these times

in fact, the laws they voted for will insure they never have money. If the Negro and the Jew and the union member and the poor alien would ever put down their differences and vote together, they could overthrow the government.”
