CrayRay’s idea was to have us lose weight so fast that we would feel it every day. He promised us six-tenths to eight-tenths of a pound a day, which is four to five and a half pounds a week! After twelve weeks we’d be down sixty pounds, and we would really be able to see and feel that. At that point our diet would change to whole plants, including nuts and fruit. The new diet would feel like a feast. He would restrict us so much that after we’d gotten used to eating no animal products, salt, oil, or refined grains, it would seem like Thanksgiving to have an orange.
