I may not have free will, but these pions sure appear to have it. No, I don’t mean that they really do. It is a bit rash and anthropomorphic to say pions have free will. Rather, the example shows that the physicalist claim that the world is deterministic is falsified by physical observations. Identical particles do not behave identically.
