Again, when I talk to white Christians, many seem to have trouble believing that someone from their neighborhood, church, school, family, or social network could have antiblack racist perceptions. The folks in their networks are all just so nice. Somehow, American society has allowed the idea to prevail that it takes mean people to perpetuate white supremacy.
