What Theodore enjoyed most about Pre-Seizure culture was the ease in which people accepted the paradox of using mass-produced objects to express their individuality. It must have taken generations of acceleration to instil such instinctive compliance, to make the people accept a culture reduced to a single question – who am I – and a million wrong answers.
