And once you start acting on your plans to live a different and purposeful life, the “normies,” the commoners, and the dumb take note. And like the Idiocracy they’re rapidly becoming, they become jealous and start throwing hurdles in your way. They’re too lazy, perhaps too stupid, to have a great life, and resent you pursuing greatness in yours. And by god if they can’t have a great life, then nobody can.
