But to put things into even further perspective, even the ultimate perspective, it simply doesn’t matter that “this world was not meant for us” simply because it’s the only one we got.  It’s the one we were born into.  It was the hand we were dealt.

We need to adapt because there simply is no other choice.  The world is not going to “adapt to us” with the majority magically increasing their IQ’s through rigorous studies and genetic treatments.  And if we focus on how “unfair” things might be or mire in our problems, we will simply never solve them ensuring we wasted our one finite, short, and precious life on this planet.

But the real tragedy is that despite TRILLIONS of human hours dedicated to these things, be it sports, celebrity gossip, or the slop served on TV, not one intelligent thing was ever said, nor one significant advancement ever made.  It is a sad waste of human life that abnormally intelligent people just can’t understand and, frankly, don’t care to.

I say “non-liberal” because I was a libertarian, not a republican, but it took too long to explain the difference to a bunch of drunk 20 somethings.

The natural consequence of envy is theft.  And whether you like it or not, since we live in a democracy smart people pay this price.  Of course, we obfuscate this fact behind a whole host of euphemisms and politically correct platitudes.  But make no mistake about it, you will be the victim of theft due to your intelligence.

And a cursory look at the state, federal, and local budgets show the majority of taxes (around 70%) is simply transferring money from smart people to dumber ones.

The sting, however, is that the rest of society doesn’t look at you and say,   “Thank you for sacrificing part of your finite life working up the money to shield me from the consequences of my idiotic mistakes.”    They typically look at you as an “evil rich fat cat” who “didn’t earn what he has” and “owes it to the rest of society” to “pay their fair share.”

The vast majority of people are neither interested in, nor want to achieve greatness.  The vast majority of people do not want to lead different or unique lives.  They are perfectly content utterly wasting their time on a   mediocre life, with a mediocre education, with a mediocre career, on a mediocre couch, watching a mediocre sitcom.

And while back in 1955 college really was the preserve of smart people, today with everybody compelled to attend college is merely high school version 2.0.   Alas, you get four more years of the exact same BS you did in high school, but this time you get to pay for it.

Criticize her as you may, Oprah is a genius because she realized people would rather feel good than actually achieve good in their lives.  And thus, she went out and told millions of women for over 20 years what they WANTED to hear, not what they NEEDED to hear.

One day you were out partying with your buddies in college, now you’re contemplating buying a fifth of scotch to make your day go by faster, and you have no clue why.

the more beautiful the woman, the less likely she is to be a stable, sane, self-supporting adult.

The truth is if we got rid of all the fat, all the unnecessary pre-requisite classes, and allowed students to advance as fast as their intelligence allowed them, we would be graduating engineers and doctors at 18, 19, 20, and 21.

And once you start acting on your plans to live a different and purposeful life, the “normies,” the commoners, and the dumb take note.  And like the Idiocracy they’re rapidly becoming, they become jealous and start throwing hurdles in your way.  They’re too lazy, perhaps too stupid, to have a great life, and resent you pursuing greatness in yours.  And by god if they can’t have a great life, then nobody can.

Again, any HONEST analysis of various government budgets will show 70% of the taxes are merely giving money from the productive members of society to the non-productive ones.  From the producers to the parasites.  And because of progressive taxation, the most productive in our society pay the most, while the least productive get the most.

If you are successful and that success translates into financial success, you can expect, at minimum, around 50% of your income and wealth to be given to other people who did not work anywhere near as hard as you.

Those on the receiving end of your forced charity are typically the least intelligent of society and don’t really bother looking at the federal budget, let alone contemplate the economics or morality of wealth redistribution.  And they certainly do not care about the personal hell you went through to achieve whatever greatness it is you achieved in life.  All they see is that you have more than them and are completely unaware of the parasitic relation they have with you.  So instead of humility, humbleness, kindness, thanks, and shame they emote rank jealousy, which often turns to full blown ...more

Alas, achieving greatness is very much like watching a stripper.  Your brain drastically overestimates what you’re going to achieve, while reality ensures you’re going to come nowhere near it.

Naturally, those financially dependent on your child’s presence in school will protest the above measures arguing that he or she won’t be “socialized” correctly.  That if they hang out with mature 21 year old college students instead of their bully-prone, misbehaving, nose-picking, armpit-farting, sophomoric 14 year old idiot peers they’ll suffer some kind of psychological trauma.

Too much time is wasted doing what you think you should do or what you think society wants you to do.  Your life is too short and your intellect too valuable to be wasted on things that simply don’t inspire you and are, frankly, beneath you.
