Specifically, is it worth spending your one precious finite life pursuing greatness? If it’s going to be this hard, and whatever greatness you achieve will likely be confiscated, not to mention the hatred and envy you’ll likely receive on top of it, would not a life of leisure and hedonism be preferable instead?
