Overcoming Panic Attacks

Your panic attacks give you a great advantage over people who have never been humbled and brought to their knees by fear. They are proud, confident, and independent, and they therefore don’t think that they need God. They think

that they are insightful, and that thought adds to their blindness. But your weakness has made you open your heart to the claims of the Gospel without any distractions.

The thought that crossed my mind was this: I am one of his soldiers, and I am lying in a ditch to die. It does not matter; the King has won the victory—Christ has won the victory—Christ is to the fore. If I die like a dog, I care not. The crown is on His head. He is safely exalted.
