Be a Treasure Treasures are sought because they are unique. They are different. They are timeless, despite the time that passes after they come to existence. They are not easily found because, to get to them, one must work hard. One must dig deep. One must appreciate the value at hand. You are deep. You are valuable. So let others dig you up.

You don't need to explain why you're protecting your soul from harm. You really don’t.

you are more worthy of being taken care

of than anyone around you.

The truth can be seen, but it is not believed until it is openly said.

Don't confuse someone's niceness with a hidden agenda, and don't confuse someone's meanness with a deficiency in yourself.

Just because someone doesn't acknowledge what you do, it does not mean that they don't see it.

Accept that you have no ownership over people even if you do give them more than you receive.

Educate me by respecting me. Educate me by treating me as a human. Educate me by showing me that you make mistakes just like I do. Educate me by showing me that I am not perfect, and neither are you.

Go for those who are aware of the existence of a meaning behind your silence, one that is deeper than what any words can rightfully express. After all, if they don't understand your silence, they will never understand your words.

Never doubt that there are people out there whose wishes are not for things of their own, but whose wishes are to make your wishes come true. Give your soul a chance at being happy by truly believing that those people exist. If you exist, then they do.

If they don't care when you care, they won't care when you don't.

Don't look for acceptance. Look for respect.

If you must explain to others why they need to respect you, they better wonder why you respect them in the first place. If they don't think you deserve to be treated with the most basic human value, what makes them think they deserve it?

Most people exist in your life to know what you're up to, rather than really care for you.

We are all born with conscious minds, so being oblivious to even the slightest form of oppression is a choice, not a result of unawareness.

It's not about who you trust. It's about what you're willing to trust people with.

Respect your elders but don't ever accept power used wrongly. Just because they're older, it doesn't mean they're wiser.

it is better for people to value you for who you are, not for who you pretend to be.

Don't ever dare to think that being different is a crime, no matter how many people shut you out. They earned the right to be let go of. You are different, and that's a fact. You are unique, and that's a fact. Your existence is in your hands, so let it shine. Let it inspire. Let it be free.

I choose to guard my soul. Today, I choose to be brave. I choose to say no when saying yes hurts.
