If I thought I was attracted to him before, then I’m completely addicted to him now.
“I like that picture,”
“I think your roommate’s egotism has rubbed off on you.”
“Me estoy muriendo por besarte,” he murmurs quietly, almost rasping.
“I just told you that the waitress is coming.”
“I’m not going to tell you that,” he says. “Because I’m not over you.”
“What?”
“It’s gonna take me a lot longer than a year without you to get over you.”
“But I thought—” “You thought what?”
“I’d come over to New York and move on just like that? You thought it would be that easy?”

“When it comes to you, it’s simple: as long as you don’t give up, I won’t either.”

“You’ve got nothing to be worried about,” he whispers slowly, his breath hot against my cheek, “because, baby, I’m all yours.”
I fall asleep in the arms of the person I’m in love with, with the sound of the rain gently pattering against the windows. Ultimately, I fall asleep that night without the smile ever fading from my lips.
I let out the breath I’ve been holding in.
“I want you more than that kid down there wants to catch a foul ball,”
