As Amid read the Qur’an he discovered that it elevated Isa above Muhammad. He learned that the Qur’an gave Isa twenty-three titles of honor, yet none for Muhammad. Isa is with Allah in heaven, Muhammad is not with Allah now. Isa will return; Muhammad will not. Isa is alive; Muhammad is dead. The Qur’an speaks of Isa ninety-seven times, only four times does it mention Muhammad. Isa’s name means Savior; Muhammad is not a savior. Isa is called Ruhullah, the Spirit of Allah. Muhammad is only a messenger.
