Training followed by action breaks this cycle. Teach people to share their stories and the gospel story and they have something they can do. When they step out in obedience, they see God at work and their faith grows. There’s no turning back when they’ve led someone to Christ. They’ll never be the same after they baptize that person and begin teaching him or her how to follow Jesus. They won’t need external motivators anymore.
