In nature, plants and animals use their strength and size and cunning to survive. This is called ‘matsya nyaya’, literally ‘fish justice’, which means the same thing as ‘jungle law’ in English— might is right, survival of the fittest. But words like justice and law are human concepts that we impose on nature to make sense of it.
