What you want to do is to be able to get to this state and be able to maintain it for at least 10 to 15 minutes. If you lose it by getting lost in thinking, just come back to the happiness. If you get distracted, the sukha won’t entirely disappear at once—there quite possibly will be some weaker remnants of it hanging around when you notice that you’ve become distracted.
