MICHAEL OVITZ: We were putting movies together without the studios. TriStar was working out of an office in Century City when we gave them The Natural. We just used their checkbook. We brought the script for The Natural with Levinson and Redford attached to it. We also delivered Kim Basinger, Glenn Close, Bill Brimley, everybody in that movie.
