Why are the Vruhans wrong? On purpose, or are they not really as far ahead of us as we are being told? Why don’t we know the secret about the Colonel yet? We are kept in the dark about way too much that our protagonist knows. Lazy and annoying.

I won’t swear to it, but I’m getting the hint that the Vruahn may have some sort of agreement with the Phage that keeps them from directly confronting each other.”
Perhaps the warning message meant the phage was going to renege on the agreement with the v guys and try to negotiate a similar deal with humans now and take out the v guys.
